I am a Mexican woman working on a personal project dealing with environmental education about sea turtles, in which art and conservation of the environment converge to raise the awareness of the children of local communities about the respect of nature.
My work is fantastic. It’s a gift of life that needs support. An extremely important resource that gave visibility to the project was Alexander’s photography, with his sensibility, talent, encouragements and punctuality. His engagement with this program – that I maintain since 2006 – helped many people learned about what I am doing.
Last year, almost 200 children and their parents created a barrier on the seashore to accompany the only baby turtle that was born that day. Alexandre’s presence was decisive to help with the diffusion - through his art - of this moment.
